Christina recently completed her second year of the JD program at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from York University, where she double majored in Psychology and Law & Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
While at law school, Christina was elected to serve multiple roles on her school’s student government, the Legal & Literary Society, for three consecutive years. In these roles, she demonstrated her passion for advocacy and leadership by working with a small team to organize school-wide community-building events and initiatives, while seeking out student feedback in order to improve the law school experience for her peers. Christina was able to further develop her advocacy skills through her work at the Osgoode Hall Innocence Project, where she was able to assist applicants who were claiming to have been wrongfully convicted to appeal their case and have their conviction reviewed. In her final year, she will serve as the Co-President of the Osgoode Peer Support Centre where she aims to emphasize the importance of taking care of one’s mental health.
In her spare time, Christina enjoys playing soccer with her friends, going on road trips, and reading outside on a sunny day.
