Executive Summary

Peter advises clients in connection with a wide range of matters, including the establishment and capitalization of private investment vehicles (including venture capital funds, mortgage funds, real estate funds and tax-structured funds), venture capital and private equity financings, business acquisitions and divestitures, corporate reorganizations and corporate governance. Peter has extensive experience dealing with complex corporate, partnership (limited and general) and trust structures in connection with the above referenced matters.

Peter’s business background, including undergraduate and graduate degrees specializing in corporate finance and 8+ years of working in the financial services industry, provides him with valuable insight into the practical business decisions facing his clients.

Peter is a senior member of the firm’s Securities and Corporate Finance and Business and Corporate Commercial practice groups and he is extensively involved in the firm’s Private Equity and Ventures Capital industry group initiatives. Peter acts as counsel for prominent Canada venture capital/private equity funds, mortgage funds, real estate funds and other institutional investors and lenders.
