Michael Lauricella

Executive Summary

Michael is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Gardiner Roberts. His practice encompasses a broad range of commercial litigation matters in respect of contractual disputes, commercial tenancies, construction disputes, and professional liability claims involving lawyers and real estate agents. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has acted as second chair before the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Michael first joined the firm as a summer and articling student before returning as an associate in 2023.

During law school, Michael developed strong advocacy skills through his work as a student volunteer in the Litigation Clinic and as an oralist in the Sir Alfred Deakin International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Wilson Moot. He was also recognized for his academic excellence, receiving the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence on three occasions and earning the First in Class distinction in Business Associations, Civil Procedure, Legal Writing, and Trial Advocacy, among other courses.
