Khalid (he/him/his) regularly advises clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and structuring commercial transactions involving purchases and sales, commercial leasing and any related agreements. Khalid also represents Schedule I and II banks, credit unions, and corporate borrowers on primary and secondary loan facilities.
In addition to commercial real estate, Khalid advises various private corporations (including start-ups) on share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, financing and corporate structuring. With an entrepreneurial mindset, Khalid has a first-hand understanding of the issues facing his clients.
Prior to joining Gardiner Roberts, Khalid worked in-house at a financial institution, a transnational chemical company, and in private practice at a Canadian business law firm.

Beyond the Office
Outside the office, Khalid enjoys playing basketball, reading children’s books with his wife and baby daughter, and mastering the culinary art of the Instant Pot.
