Executive Summary
Kevin is a litigation partner at Gardiner Roberts LLP acting for a broad range of clients across several industries before all levels of court. Kevin has significant experience in complex commercial matters before the Commercial List court including for the appointment of Receivers and Managers, oppressive conduct applications, fraud investigations, securities fraud, debtor creditor and insolvency matters, contract and shareholder disputes and real estate development matters. Kevin has also successfully represented clients in numerous private arbitrations.
Kevin’s extensive litigation experience also includes acting for employees in wrongful dismissal and employment matters, including federally regulated industries under the Canada Labour Code. Kevin has developed a substantial intellectual property practice before the Federal Court of Canada in which he assists his clients in the protection of their copyrights and trademarks, particularly in relation to television broadcasts for live and pay-per-view sporting events, computer software, internet based programming and other media.
Kevin has 25 years of experience helping clients in radio, TV, film and advertising protect their rights and the fruits of their labour.
