Executive Summary

Candace is a Senior Corporate Law Clerk and Manager of our Corporate Services Department. Before joining Gardiner Roberts LLP, Candace worked at a large downtown firm for over 25 years and as such, she brings to Gardiner Roberts over 30 years’ experience as a Corporate Law Clerk. She assists lawyers in the firm's Corporate Group with substantive complex and routine matters relating to incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, revivals, dissolutions. In addition, Candace drafts agreements and provides supporting documents relating to corporate and tax reorganizations, share and asset purchase and sale transactions. Candace also reviews, drafts, and effectively recommends changes to corporate documents. She drafts closing agendas, conducts corporate due diligence reviews, prepares meeting materials, extra-provincial registrations, has experience with public companies as well as, knowledge and experience regarding general corporate record-keeping and corporate search/due diligence related matters. Candace is also responsible for the day to day management of our Corporate Services Department and is responsible for HR related matters, work allocation and systems management for the department.

Beyond the Office

Away from the office Candace enjoys travelling and spending time at her cottage with her husband Danny and two little dogs Peanut and Willy. She has two adult children and was once a very active “hockey mom” with her son playing US college hockey. Candace enjoys playing softball in the summer.
